Happy Treez
These are the Happy Treez, a limited series of 101 hand embellished encaustic prints in beeswax and damar resin on wood panels. Each is a unique 1 of 1 print with a happy tree and a spectrogram of the biometrics recorded for each tree. These biometrics were used in a eurorack modular system, recorded into individual tracks and made songs featured in the album titled, “Roots In Rhythm”.
Each encaustic print is 10” x 10” on a wood panel and comes with hanging hardware installed.

Each encaustic print is a 1/1 of a Happy Tree whose biometrics were recorded using varying sensors and then the data was put through a modular synthesis system and then the audio was recorded and turned into the Happy Treez “Roots In Rhythm” album. Each hand made print features the tree and the audio spectrogram that was the final result used in the song the tree was featured in.
The album is now available for streaming on various platforms.
